What’s in a Year?
Another year has passed and a quick scan of Facebook shows that twenty-fourteen was either a dud, a win or in most cases a jumbled mixture of the two.
Twenty-fourteen was a great year for our family. It had its challenges, but compared to the last two years it was refreshing, but that is not what this post is about.
I was reflecting on why we have these knee-jerk reflections on each year. Why are we so quick to throw out a year as good, bad, or indifferent? I believe it comes from our misplaced perspective throughout the year. It shows us that too often our days are not focused on Christ and glorifying Him in all things.
